You're busy, and you don't want to be tied to your KeyTrak system to assign a key, manage users, or run reports. With our mobile app and KeyTrak Edge Remote software, you can manage your system from your desk or on the go.
This flexibility not only saves time but also makes it easier to oversee system activity and hold employees accountable — no matter where you are.
Remote management lets you handle many of your day-to-day system tasks without walking over to the system. For example, you can assign or transfer keys, monitor key status, or run reports from another location.
Here’s an overview of what you can do with each tool:

* Users must have the appropriate mobile app permissions to initiate or complete key transfer or requested in KeyTrak Edge Remote.
The mobile app is ideal for quick, on-the-go actions like scanning QR codes on key tags or completing key transfers. Meanwhile, Edge Remote lets you do heavier administrative work from any computer on the same network as your system, such as managing user profiles or running detailed reports.
Available exclusively for KeyTrak Edge drawer-based systems.
Designed for employees who need to stay mobile, the app lets you check key status, view key queues, and complete transfers or key requests. You can also scan QR codes to check out or identify key tags. In dealership settings, QR codes on vehicle windshields provide quick access to vehicle details.
Available with all KeyTrak systems.
KeyTrak Edge Remote allows authorized staff to access the system from any computer on the same network. From there, you can run all KeyTrak reports (including Auto Run Reports), manage users and locations, and even adjust system configurations. Optional peripherals like a fingerprint reader, proximity card reader, or driver’s license scanner let you perform additional key and user management tasks, such as adding keys or users.
Some actions — such as physically checking in or out keys, network setup, or shutting off alarms — still require the system itself.
By using KeyTrak Mobile and KeyTrak Edge Remote as part of your workflow, you can save time, maintain control over key activity, and keep operations running smoothly without tying up the main system.
